A terrible scene unfolded on the Lekki-Ajah Road today as Korope drivers blocked the route, inconveniencing passengers and private car owners. They were protesting the forced eviction of their members from Ajah Park a few days ago. The vehicle I was in got stuck at Jakande, leaving me with no choice but to walk to Ajah-Lagos. It's disheartening that there were no government representatives to address the issue or provide a clear channel for reporting concerns.
Witnesses are left wondering...
