Interestingly, this issue extends beyond maternity care for our Black and Brown sisters alone. There seems to be a wider, systemic pattern that threatens the health and well-being of people of colour.

The rapid dismissal of my daughter’s symptoms, without proper consideration of our anxieties as parents when we took her to A&E last year, was deeply concerning and, frankly, speaks to bias.
