National Assembly Clears ₦1.5 Trillion Army Budget for 2026.

The National Assembly of Nigeria has approved a ₦1.5 trillion 2026 budget proposal for the Nigerian Army. Announcing the decision, Abdulaziz Yar’Adua assured prompt fund release, while Aminu Balele pledged strict oversight.

Lawmakers praised Army leadership and reiterated their commitment to strengthening national security and accountability in fund utilisation.
