In relationships, listening is often mistaken for silence. But silence without attention is not listening. A nod without understanding is not listening. True listening involves curiosity. It asks questions. It notices tone, pauses, and what is not being said as much as what is spoken.
Unfortunately today,we have cultivated a habit of reading and listening to respond never to understand.The truth on both sides -discernment is crucial!
