INEC proposes N873.78 billion for 2027 elections, allocates over N200 billion for election technology
INEC Chairman, Professor Joash Amupitan, who presented the proposed budget before the Senate and House of Representatives joint committee on Electoral Matters, divided the budget into five major parts, which include:
- N375.75 billion for election operations.
- N92.31 billion for election administrative costs.
- N209.21 billion for election technology costs.
