INEC has budgeted a whooping N873.7bn to conduct the 2027 general elections.
The painful side to all of this is that at the end of the day they will still (un)deliver a sham election that will not reflect the collective wishes of the electorate.
But the money will be spent to the last kobo, money that can as well be deployed to better use in the education or health sector.
