A doyen of the journalism profession, Chief Dan Agbese, commenced his journey home today with a stop-over at the NUJ House, Makurdi for a valedictory session in his honour. Speaker after speaker paid glowing tributes to him, describing his legacies as unmatchable.
Agbese is for me a bragging right. Each time the opportunity provides itself, I raise my shoulders and point at him as my elder brother. This comes with a personal fulfilment that can't be explained. Saying goodnight to him is tough.
