El Paso airspace closure & drone incident
The FAA imposed rare restrictions and later lifted them after the US military reportedly shot down what was initially suspected to be a drone (later identified as a party balloon). Some reports link it to Mexican cartel drone activity near the border, causing flight cancellations.
