Democracy Undermined by Design

The mix of electronic and manual transmission of election results is a recipe for chaos. It breeds uncertainty, weakens trust, and invites manipulation. Network failure on election day may be deliberate or induced, creating an excuse to abandon electronic systems for manual processes that are easier to exploit. Until one secure, transparent method is enforced, public confidence in democracy will keep eroding.
