There’s also a quiet shift happening. Some Africans abroad are choosing to return home, bringing skills, capital, and perspective back to Africa. Others are building cross-border lives: earning globally, investing locally, staying rooted while mobile. The old idea that “leaving Africa equals winning” is cracking.
So are Africans abroad making it?
Some are doing exceptionally well.
Many are doing okay.
Some are struggling in silence.
