Tragedy struck Kano State on Sunday as more than 30 people reportedly died in a major road accident at Kwanar Barde in Gezawa Local Government Area. The crash, which occurred in the early hours, involved a trailer traveling towards Gujungu that is said to have lost control due to reckless driving. Several passengers sustained serious injuries.
