BREAKING: The Senate is scheduled to convene for an emergency plenary session this Tuesday. The President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, has issued a directive to reconvene for an emergency plenary session on Tuesday, February 10th, 2026.
This is coming at a time when there are public protests over the senatea rejection of electronic transmission of votes for the 2027 general elections.
