Unpopular opinion:
Fuel subsidy was never the real problem in Nigeria.

The real issue is trust.

If Nigerians trusted that savings from subsidy removal would go into healthcare, education, transport, and jobs, most people would support it.

The anger isn’t about ₦ fuel — it’s about broken promises.
