The stance of Godswill Akpabio and his co travellers exemplifies a lack
of understanding of the workings of the legislative arm of government.
Law making is not based on the whims and caprices of their godfathers or their personal preferences but the wishes of their constituents, from whom they derive their mandate and right to sit in the chambers The will of the majority must prevail, that is democracy.
