I too went about mine.
Not wishing to speak about it.
Not to him or anyone else.
Why?
For two reasons.
Firstly, partly to preserve my peace.
Secondly, because I didn’t want to seem ungrateful to the same person who had offered me shelter when I needed it most.
I swept the incident under the carpet pushing it further to the back of my mind, hopeful that it was a one-off misunderstanding.
