The Dangote refinery stated that it will soon install a linear alkylbenzene (LAB) plant to manufacture surfactants.
Surfacers are a key component of cleaning detergents, used in homes to clean surfaces, clothing, and for personal hygiene.
The Dangote refinery stated that 100% of the detergents used in West Africa are imported.
