These photos were taken during my time as an international student at Plochid Pobedi, a World War II memorial square in Russia.
Opportunities abroad can change overnight.
That reality is why AF-RICARDO prioritizes safety over profit and withdrew its study visa offers to Russia and Ukraine years ago, due to the real risk of foreign nationals being conscripted into military conflict.
My condolences to the families of the fallen Nigerians recently reported by CNN.
