After Kwara
Kwara mourns in the language of burnt roofs and unanswered names,
where grief sits quietly, refusing spectacle;
terror arrived armed with certainty, yet found no surrender,
for a people may be wounded without yielding their soul.
The dead do not vanish - they become conscience,
pressing the living to choose courage over fear,
until Nigeria learns that hope survives not by silence, but by resolve.
