TRUTH IS POWERFUL
I learned what it means to speak truth to power the day I let the truth slip into a room that had long been walled off by silence. I didn’t raise my voice, I didn’t curse, I didn’t even tremble—yet the moment my words landed, the air cracked open. Those who had settled comfortably into authority reacted not with reason, but with rage. The kind of rage that could make a lion doubt its kingship of the jungle. Their outburst is usually loud, dramatic, almost theatrical.
