When God Asked Me to Build Without a Steering Wheel.

Trusting God felt like this for me—
God handed me blueprints for a boat
and never gave me an engine,
a sail,
or a steering wheel.

He just said, “Build.”

Like Noah, I didn’t know where I was going to land.
Like Abraham, I left what was familiar
without knowing what was ahead.
Like Peter, I stepped out
while the waves dared me to sink.

I wanted control.
God wanted trust.

Every plank I laid was obedience.
Every unanswered question was faith.
