Gospel Reading (Mk 6:7-13) as we celebrate the Memorial of St. Agatha, Virgin and Martyr:

Lord Jesus,
Like St. Agatha, give us purity of heart, strength in trial, & fidelity to You when faith is tested. May we never compromise the truth of the Gospel for comfort, approval, or security. Send us out, Lord, into our homes, workplaces, digital spaces, & communities, to drive out the demons of hatred and despair, to anoint the suffering with compassion, & to make Your love visible through our lives
