The N800k tax-free rule doesn’t mean no deductions. PAYE taxes total monthly income including salary plus allowances and extras, and projects it across the year. So your monthly pay needs to be below N66000 not to be taxed

Ideally, you should be able to reclaim any excess deduction at the end of the year.
