The Federal Government has launched the Safe Nigeria Initiative, a youth empowerment program aimed at tackling insecurity by addressing its socio-economic root causes. The initiative, which focuses on humanitarian skills development, was unveiled at the National Counter Terrorism Centre in Abuja and is being coordinated by the centre in collaboration with other government agencies.
